As-salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah,
I hope you are doing well. My name is Abubakar Abid, and I am helping organize this year’s Boston MAS College Retreat. The annual retreat attracts more than 100 college students and young professionals from the Northeastern United States. The retreat offers students a chance to step back from their colleges and workplaces, and an opportunity to reconnect with Islam and with Allah. Retreat attendees have described the experience as “spiritual, beautiful, calming, beneficial, [and] everlasting.” Many students have described the retreat as a life-changing moment for them!
Unfortunately, not every college student can afford to participate in the retreat – rather, it is because of generous donors like yourself that we’ve been able to provide financial aid to students who cannot pay for the retreat. Each year, we are able to support 30-40 students who would otherwise not be able to benefit from the retreat.
Anything you can donate, whether it is to support 5 students ($600), or 1 student ($120), will allow Muslim students to experience this year’s retreat, and will be a recurring charity for you, insha’Allah (all donations are also tax-exempt). You can donate quickly and securely through our online form at the link below.

May Allah reward you,
Abubakar Abid

Topic: Our incredible religion empowers us with the ability to directly communicate with our Master, calling out to Him with all range of emotions. The tragedy for so many is that they have difficulty connecting their words to genuine feelings, to feel the power of memorized words and to come away after making du’a a changed human being. We’d like to invite you to join us for a night dedicated to enriching the heart with the gift of calling out to Allah. |
